Milky Way update… unfortunately it’s not a great one. ?? 2 y/o Milky Way’s paws have been sensitive and raw since he arrived at the shelter and they’re just not getting any better – even with attention from our veterinary team. This is largely due to the hard flooring, dampness, and generally unforgiving environment of the shelter. He is now struggling to walk, as putting weight on his paws causes him pain. Milky Way is in search of a home, foster, or rescue transfer where he can get a soft landing to rest, heal, and be loved. He’s done well with humans and laid-back dogs here at the shelter, and his adoption will be fee-waived. ??
